| Re: VINTAGE HORN EYE CANDY Not really sure........I think the serial number is 2665 but I haven't seen a serial number list for this brand. Its a strange little horn, a bit smaller than a modern flugel but a huge sound. I think I will have to make a new receiver as the only mouthpiece that fits is a trumpet one........hhmmmm actually I think I have an old denis wick 1 deep cup trumpet mp sitting around here somewhere. |

| Re: VINTAGE HORN EYE CANDY I really must say that I'm very envious of many of you. I love the old art deco styling and beautiful engraving of some of these horns. Those King Silver sonic horns are awesome. I also truly admire the work done on some of the restorations, making 80 year old horns look and play as brand new must be very gratifying. Thanks for sharing these works of art that happen to double as fine musical instruments. One day I'll scrape together the cash to have my King Liberty restored. |

It appears yours is a "professional" model--I don't see any place for a lyre, and the first valve slide, at 90 degrees from the leadpipe, can be pulled out by the right hand thumb for tuning 13 and 123 combinations. Cool find! | |
