![]() | Re: VINTAGE HORN EYE CANDY Sorry for the size of the pictures. When I post on TH theay are resized but not on this site. As far as the Chicago Benge C, it plays very close to a Bb. It is not small at all even for an ML. I had the valves redone and aligned by Dr. Valve (Steve Winans) and he commented that it played as well, if not better than the CSO Mt. Vernons he has worked on (including Herseth's). I am a huge Benge fan and I still believe they are the best trumpet, vintage or otherwise, for the money anywhere. I have owned Bachs, Schilkes and Eclipses and I still keep coming back to Benge! |
