What a georgeous horn and a great image of it to boot. I just picked up a 55 myself. Is this your main player?

Re: VINTAGE HORN EYE CANDY

Thanks, but did you mistake it for a Committee? This is a 30´s student model Cavalier made by Conn and I do not believe they were made after WWII.

It is well made and a sweet player but as all student instruments it lacks some depth in sound. I bought it some weeks ago and have decided to use it as my "car cornet". However it is a bit unsure how long I am allowed to keep it as I used it for some songs during the latest rehearsal with our community band and one of the other trumpeters said that its shorter lenght and rather trumpet like sound would be perfect for his grandson....

Did you use a white background or did you remove the background. Cool photos. How'd you do it?

Combination of both. White background then just whiten it a bit more. I made them like that for a stock photo site.

Re: VINTAGE HORN EYE CANDY

To go along with my Martin Magna Flugel, here is my 1954 Martin Committee that I just got back from Charlie's Brass Works. It is raw brass and plays very nicely.
