I have a question for you. I found that when I used your oil for the first time I had to wash the trumpet and get all of that old stuff off first. I bought a rotary picc. and I want to use your oil by putting it in the slides and blowing through the horn. I am afraid to take apart the rotary valves so how can I switch?

Go ahead and apply Ultra-Pure Oil to both the rotors (through the slide ports) and the spindle (under the bottom cap). After a few applications, all the old oil will be replaced by Ultra-Pure Oil. Traditional valve oils are not recommended for the spindle because they evaporate too quickly -- but Ultra-Pure will hang in there for you. And it also works great on the rotary valves of trombones. You can use a tiny dab of Ultra-Pure Light tuning slide lube on the linkage parts of the rotary mechanism if they are making rattling or clicking noises. They will quiet down nicely. -Ken

I have a new Taylor Chic II Bb and a new Kanstul 1510 C trumpets sitting in a brand new Wiseman case collecting dust because my valves are sticking. I've settled to playing my Schilke for the time being. All the oils I have used vaporate like the morning dew and I have to keep oiling them several times a day. Hey, why don't they make trumpet valve casings (carbon metal for lightness) like motor casings with valves in an oil bath? My brother in law in N.J. is coming to Israel next week and I sure would like him to bring me some of your oil. It's either next week or wait another 6 months. Can't order it by international mail for it would never arrive without it being highjacked or taxed 100 - 200 percent because it is not sold here. I'll send you the N.J. address if you could send me the details about payment, deliverly time, etc. Liad Bar-EL

Ultra Pure is a very fine oil, but I still think Zaja Blue is the better of the two oils. Freedom of choice. Its great in the USA.

Chris Botti's endorsement "Ultra-Pure Rocks!" I met with the globe-trotting Chris Botti in Salem, Oregon where he was performing with his group together with the Oregon Symphony. Chris has been using Ultra-Pure Oil on his vintage Martin Committee for about the last year. His endorsement is "Ultra-Pure Rocks!" Chris is a terrific trumpet player and is a real entertainer in live performance. Check his tour schedule at his website www.chrisbotti.com. I am very grateful to all my customers on trumpetmaster for their continued support and for the many repeat orders and referrals! -Ken www.ultrapureoils.com
