| Forte User | I just got my first order yesterday: oil, 2 tubs of grease (lite and regular) and the refill bottle. I immediately went to my case, grabbed out the picc (haven't played on it since July, and she was in sad shape) and it now runs like a dream. My C, notorious for having bad valves, even runs smoothly. I'm sold. I was using Alisyn, but this seems to be even better than that. |

| I've used the Ultra-pure slide grease on my double horns for about a year now ( with 10 slides per horn, a long-lasting and smooth feeling slide grease is the answer to a prayer) but I hadn't used the oil much until earlier this week. I purchased an entry-level flugelhorn from WWBW and expected the worst. The valves and the third valve slide felt 'graunchy' when I received it until I totally cleaned the flugel and relubed it with all three of the Ultra-Pure products. Man, what a difference! I don't know if Ultra-Pure is the best break-in oil, but it doesn't matter, that's what I'm going to use. |

![]() | TMers, Just a quick note to say that Ken Saul (a terrific guy and good player) had a quick lesson with me last week in New Hampshire and generously gave me some of his Ultra-Pure oil and slides lubes. I'm usually not a big fan of things slippery and sticky, but Ultra-Pure is unusually good. I've brought a pack out to my studio at CalArts and everyone is knocked out by how much better it is than what they were already using. Just thought you'd like to know this. Cheers, EC |

| Alison Balsom endorses Ultra-Pure Oil Hi Trumpetmaster friends -- just a quick note to let you know that Alison Balsom has endorsed Ultra-Pure Professional Valve Oil and Tuning Slide Lubes. "They really work fantastically" according to Alison, winner of the Brit Award as "Young British Classical Performer of the Year". Alison has recorded three wonderful CDs for EMI and will perform in Europe, Canada, and the US over the next few months. Do make sure to hear her if you live near one of her upcoming concerts. More about Alison at her website -- www.alisonbalsom.com. Remember to get some more Ultra-Pure Professional Valve Oil for the new year! And thank you for all your business in 2006. -Ken |

| Re: Ultra-Pure Oils I switched to Ultra-Pure when I purchased my horn, it was recommended by the maker. It is the best of any other oils I have used, clean, fast, and seems to last a long time. I just ordered my second 4-pack and appreciate Ken's fast shipping. |
