Two scale sets every five minutes except for the first five minutes when I will do three. I play up to Db major or minor. Here is what it looks like broken down into five minute groups.

F-F#-G
Ab-A
Bb-B
C-C#
D-Db

Please let me know if there are any more questions.
Best,
Andrew
Thanks for the reply, Andrew. Did you mean you go to Eb, making the last one "D-Eb", or do you come back down to Db? Also, do you personally like to do these on Bb or C trumpet?

I appreciate the clarifications. I like "gathering" routines like this for reference.

Bob

Re: Dynamics

Hi Bob,
I go to Db usually as my highest scale but I play each scale up to one note above the tonic making my highest note Eb. Sorry I didn't say that well before. I like to do these on C trumpet. It's important to note that a lot of the things I do around these exercises is on Bb. The reason I like these on C is that I want to get the feeling of playing my primary orchestral instrument in this physically stressful way.
I hope that helps to clarify. Please let me know if there are more questions.
Best,
Andrew
