Crazy For You

Mr. Wise,

I'm playing in an upcoming performance of Gershwin's "Crazy for You" and noticed that you're playing on the recording I have. Any tips about this particular show?

Re: Crazy For You

The show has a few high Cs on the piccolo trumpet Double C for eight shows a week........I don't think so!
I haven't a clue what they send on the road.
We used a ton of mutes, including Solotone, on Broadway. It's a very straight ahead show with lots of playing. You will enjoy it.

Re: Crazy For You

This Musical is a Blast! Best of luck to you! I have the same recording to practice to for when I played lead in college. Mr Wise does an absolutely incredible job.
