 | I read somewhere that "Hen Gates" was the name Dizzy played piano under during the recording strike. (Edit)Apparently not. I googled around, and while it has been theorized that Dizzy played piano as Hen Gates on one recording (while he was on contract to another label -- nothing to do with the strike), it sure looks like it was James "Hen Gates" Forman. Sorry for the misinformation -- back to your regularly scheduled expert...
