![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Doc-50 years ago Doc was a very conservative dresser before he took over as the "Tonight Show" bandleader. I met him in the 1960s when he came to Baltimore to play a Skitch Henderson led "Pops" concert. Doc played the Floyd Werle Concerto, then he came back to play in the Trumpet section for the rest of the concert! Wilmer |
