Now whenever I'm tempted to shave off my whiskers, I'll remember that somebody out there likes them!

I have more but they are big files. I might have to cut them to upload them successfully or change their format. Anyone familiar with this stuff. I barely know how to use the bloody camera no less edit the videos

Welcome. I have said it before, but I'll say it again. Your time with Mingus is my favorite period in Mingus. I also loved your album "Traveling On"

I'm sure you have many stories about your time with Mingus.

Re: Last night at the Blue Note

Ted, I remember a night in Chicago years ago at the Showcase when you came with a band that had Howard Johnson on tuba, who played a plunger solo on same on "Please, Please Please Don't Put the Pigfoot in the Kreplach", an original. Then a few years later with Mingus Dynasty in the same venue, we conversed briefly side by side in the men's room.

Michael McLaughlin

p.s. I've always loved "The New Thing and the Blue Thing", I have both vinyl and CD. Plus Folk Form #1 is awesome.
