| Re: Last night at the Blue Note Ted, I remember a night in Chicago years ago at the Showcase when you came with a band that had Howard Johnson on tuba, who played a plunger solo on same on "Please, Please Please Don't Put the Pigfoot in the Kreplach", an original. Then a few years later with Mingus Dynasty in the same venue, we conversed briefly side by side in the men's room. Michael McLaughlin p.s. I've always loved "The New Thing and the Blue Thing", I have both vinyl and CD. Plus Folk Form #1 is awesome. |
