Why are we so obsessed with playing high...........music is not a sporting event........more important to make music. I've been playing for 41 yrs prof. and 98% of the time never needed more than a high F.

btw I got up to P last night.

Is the F sharp below the staff "low F sharp?" If so, wouldn't that make a first space F sharp "middle F sharp" and a top line F sharp "high F sharp"? Oops, that would make F sharp above high C "double F sharp."

This is the system that seems most logical to me, but I know it isn't generally accepted, so I use the system I mentioned earlier.

I'm with Manny I can play an E above high C so for me it stops there...
