| Re: Best place to order contemporary music Trent, As you know we do a ton of contemporary music at Chosen Vale but the course is about what YOU want to do, not what we want you to do. Bring anything you feel like playing. That said, pieces that I really like (and that you have the chops and imagination to play) include: George Antheil: Sonata Andre Jolivet: Concertino Alfred Desenclos: Incantation, Thrčne et Danse G. Scelsi: Quattro Pezzi (solo trumpet) Stanley Friedman: Solus (solo trumpet) There are tons (tons) more but that's a start. Why don't you write something? Best, EC |
