![]() | B15M, I would expect the class to fill until mid-winter, early spring. . .you still have plenty of time. Expect a mix of masterclasses (everyone plays), workshops (volunteers play), lessons (everyone plays/observes), rehearsals (preparation for masterclass, ensembles, and, especially, new compositions), etc. Nobody likes to lecture, but there's plenty of lively discussion that lasts 'till late in the night! Best, EC |

![]() | Joe, Large double rooms with private baths. The Great Stone Dwelling operated as an Inn before the Shaker Museum moved their exhibits into the building. There are just enough bedrooms to accomodate the faculty, staff, & 35 participants. We'll solve entertainment issues as we get closer to the seminar (certainly a tv/DVDs/some internet access, etc.) Best, EC |

![]() | Tom, Lake Placid rules will be in effect: participants must enroll for both weeks and some faculty members will only be in residence for a week (but never less than). By the way, I've received applications from some really interesting people already and feel VERY good about the whole thing... Best, EC |

| Hi Dan, Great news -- I look forward to seeing/hearing you again! Hi Ed, Thanks -- I'm definitely there for the full two weeks -- I was just curious to know if you have nailed down which faculty will be in residence when, and for how long... Best, -Tom |

| I haven't given up on this idea yet. One of the things that is bothering me is, I don't want to share a room. I'm too old to do that for two weeks. Maybe that sounds like a stupid thing to hold me back, but is there a way to get your own room? |

![]() | B15, I understand, being a very private person myself, but everyone who takes the course will be sharing a room. We're renting an unbelievable Shaker site for the seminar and, in spite of being very large, it has a finite number of bedrooms that are available as such (not used as exhibit space). Sorry. EC |
