I know exactly where you live. Welcome to the forum.

Matt (mazzrick) gives good advice above about playing with a tuner (which trains your eye, not your ear, afterall). Work on your centers and you'll be fine.

Interesting thread made more so due to the short time you've been playing. . . keep us informed (!)

I'm beginning to feel solid ground here. I worked on my centers (still am) but what really matters (in my opinion) is that my hearing begins to change. I'm able now to sing intervals right and therefore play them right. It takes a lot of energy especially when I'm getting tiered and it doesn't work all the time but I'm getting somewere. Patience and a lot af practicing will get me there....
