Long phrases are surely part of that. Incredible dynamics - probably not. It is a baroque solo so some flash is not bad - the flash should be intelligently dosed however. Heinz Holliger plays wonderfully, but perhaps a bit conservative. My personal favorite for this is: English Baroque Soloists Simon Dent: Oboe. He uses the baroque oboe and gives great insite into what is possible with this instrument.
