I have a couple of questions regarding this topic. When you guys are talking about triggering software, what is used as the interface. Is it actually an interface that can translate trumpet notes into MIDI notes, or just the pressure of a particular pitch triggering lines or sounds on a computer program? I find this very interesting as I am now working on a CD with trumpet and abstract synth sounds.

Also, where can I hear samples of some of the music mentioned above?
