| Re: The WWW Ed, Got one... trumpet 5 is Reiner Auerbach, at one time (maybe then) principal trumpet of the Dresden Opera and now principal trumpet of the Berliner Statsoper. Odd story with this guy is that he was on a bus returning to Dresden with the opera orchestra from Berlin when the Berlin wall fell and the bus driver heard this on the radio and stopped the bus and left. The rest of the orchestra took their things and walked the 20 km back to Berlin to see everything. Matt |

| Re: The WWW Matt, I thought so but wasn't sure (senior moment). Ok. . . trumpet 4 is Charles Couch (Cleveland Orch) and trumpet 5 is Reiner. I'm pretty sure that isn't Kenji Tamiya, as TD suggests (makes sense though). I toured Japan with Ten of the Best (Vizzutti, who was in the band, calls this "Two of the Best and Eight of the Rest") a few years back and Kenji was with us. Perhaps I'm wrong. Nice to "see" you, Matt. I hope Luzern Festival is treating you well once again. Best, EC |
