    Bobby Greene went on to Juilliard and Curtis Institute. I lost track with him many years ago. Bobby switched to piano at one point, he became a first-rate jazz player

    hello wiseone; being you are from philly,did you know a black fellow by the name of bob green "greenie "he had prefect pitch.played piano,bassoon.went to the settlement school.i can remember riding to a football game with the marching band and a whistle sounded everybody hollared "hey greenie whats that note? " without a second thought he replied an Ab.but just slightly flatted.he fell asleep in ear training class one time and mr.wyre hit a chord asked greenie to id it.he responed with something like this " E,G,B,D,F# a augmented 5th and flatted 9th.and went back to sleep.would you know what happened to him?

    Quick question:
    Did you mention that Cup mute is what Shostakovich prefered for the solo voce section in his concerto for piano, trumpet and strings in C minor?
