Post Greetings from Central New Jersey

Hello all, I'm new here my name is Stan, I'm 37 years old, I play a Bach ML 37 and an Amati Picc. I live in Middlesex County, NJ. I've been playing for 29 years. I had a short pause in my active playing due to buying an old house that needed a lot of work, not having a lot of money I did all the work myself (addition, plumbing, wiring, heating etc.) so it took up about 8 years of my time during which I only picked up the horn about 3 times a year just to make sure I still could play. I have now come to a point where I can practice every day and I am making good progress to get back to where I left off, actually I'm actually starting to progress some in my playing. I regret I did not go to college for music, having taken the advice of my HS guidance councellor I got an associates degree in automotive technology. I hope to find performance opportunities, and any other options there may be out there to make music a bigger part of my life.

I would guess the middle-sex would be the people who check "other" on the admission forms, no?
