| (small fonts are easy - how about hidden?) I have enjoyed a trumpet player's bite, Mike, for the last twenty-seven years and I hope to for at least another twenty-seven more. Besides the joy of his 'bite' I get the honor and privilege to listen as he practices... a serenade every evening in my very own house. How wonderful is that? To be married to someone who can make music so sweetly is a blessing and I'm glad I'm the one to be so blessed. |

| I am originally from Wisconsin, but Corsair says I got out before the dumb dust could settle... we then moved to Rosemont, Colorado, then to Albuquerque, NM (my dad was a television station tracking manager and had to go where the job dictated and man, in New Mexico, up on Sandia Crest, they had to keep all the stations clear... so at any given time there were ten televisions glowing in the living room. Talk about a child's dream come true). Then we came back up to St. Paul, where my mom was originally from. Corsair is originally from St. Paul, Minnesota, too. He was born and raised in the same house. Now, Corsair and I are in White Bear Township, it's just north of the Twin Cities. We first met in junior high, where I fell in love with him. When we got our small yearbooks I ran home and showed his picture to my mom and asked what she thought of him, "He's cute", she said. I told her, "That's the boy I'm going to marry." And when we were 19 in 1978... we did. (He claims he never had a chance) And for all you folks out there who think that Minnesotans talk like that stupid characterization of "Sven and Olga"... trust me, we do not. We sound like any news reporter on the National News channels. Thought du jour: When the chips are down... the buffalo is empty! |

| I hate that! Quote:
Anyway, I was born in St. Paul and lived in South Minneapolis as a kid. In my teens, I lived in the St, Croix Valley area; Stillwater, to be precise. I lived in that area until I was thirty six and then moved here, to Las Vegas, a little over five years ago. I don't miss Minnesota at all. I thought I would, but I just don't. Life is so much more fun out west! Sin City kicks butt!!!!!!! | |

We sound like any news reporter on the National News channels. I agree with you. I grew up in the Twin Cities and relocated to Kansas City a few years ago. I didn't think I had an accent until all my co-works started teasing me the way I say....flag...bag...etc. Hmmmm....Minnesota....I hope to return someday. later |
