![]() | hiya! Hey also a girl. Just got me-self a brand spanking new silver strad horn (with the gold kit!) I thought that since i have a pro trumpet i should hang out with the other trumpet gurus, just a student but i can play up a storm. |

![]() | Re: hiya! i play in a brass quintet, where we idolize canadian brass, so we play a lot of their stuff.But i play anything from Little Fugue by Bach to the Beatles And yes i do sing, i didnt know trumpet players weren't allowed to sing. |

![]() | Re: hiya! Let's just say certain trumpet players are allowed to sing......I could easily get paid NOT to sing!!!!! So I always felt like trumpet was my singing voice - and that influenced how I wanted to play it and hear it played (especially Maynard in his ballads like Maria). You must keep a pretty busy schedule with the brass ensemble and singing/opera! Keep up the good work.
