![]() | I am back It has been a long time the horn was taken away for medical reasons, then I kind of just lost the time to get on again. I have to start from scratch and work my way up, i plan on a slow progression so I will not get any new bad habits. ( noting above an E for a long time so I do not pinch off my throat) once back in shape I'll have to find some people to play with big band and ballads are what I am most comfortable with. |

![]() | Re: I am back Slowly and correctly is the go. I returned after 30 odd years, and I quite simply had to teach myself to even read music again, let alone the fingering, embouchure, stance, breathing, and the myriad of other little nuances that fighter pilots don't have to worry about - not that I will ever be a fighter pilot. Practice well and regularly - get a tutor soon. The very best of fun - luck has no part in it at all.
