We have handed out Procession of the Nobles in the community band I play with and lucky me got 1st trumpet part. Its gonna take me a bit of practice to get that song down.

I'd keep an eye out for a used pro horn if your looking for an upgrade. I just picked up a Getzen Capri Shepards Crook cornet that is their step up horn for $109 at Brook Mays.

Wow, dwindham, I wish you luck on your part! I know the 1st trumpet in my orchestra had a hard time with that--and he's really good (according to me). He's got it now, though, in time for our concert Friday. So a lot of practice WILL do it! I would appreciate it if you kept your eye out for a pro horn--I'm considering waiting a year for college, in which case it would make a lot of sense to upgrade.
