![]() | New to TM and could use some advice A warm Hi to all from a cold place, Minneapolis Minnesota. I am new to TM and am trying to get back to playing. I used to be an OK player back in my high school days but that was some 30+ years ago. Now that I have more time on my hands and the kids are grown up I can devote more time to practicing. Would like opinions from any and all, if one should begin taking lessons to avoid restoring any old bad habits, or just start playing and then take some lessons later on. If lessons are in order does anyone have recommendations for teachers in Minneapolis (west suburbs is where I live) I know there are a number of you on TM that are from Minnesota. Thanks to all!!! |

![]() | Re: New to TM and could use some advice Hi Manny. You must be a neighbor because I live a mile north of Wayzata off of Ferndale. If you want I could give you a call and we could discuss what one should do with an "Old War Horse" like me. Shooting me is out of the question however. |
