I bought a Cannonball which is one of the more controversial new horns, but I love it. I've played your horn and really liked it as well. The big question is how does it fit you? You've got a great horn, so live it up and play it for all it's worth.

Re: Newbie!!

Welome to TM, Catalan! I come back from the days when "P-K4" was normal notation. At least trumpet fingerings have stayed the same!

Hello and Welcome! I heard that was a good trumpet. I have never had a Yamaha Bb trpt but have had a Yamaha Eb/D & Yamaha fluegel and they were both great horns. The Yamaha was a lot easier to play in tune than the Bach C I had (around 1970) maybe the Bachs are easier to play in tune now. I have played a Schilke 13A4a for 15-20 years now and think it is a great all around mouthpiece. Also use the same rim threaded on a Bob Reeves underpart for super high stuff.
