Talking What it do.

What's up everyone? My name is shane and I use to play the trumpet. Latley I've been wanting to get back into playing, but haven't played in about 15 years . So, I figured I would join this formum and maybe one other to get some feed back learn a few new things. But, most importently get back to playing and possible taking a refresher course to re-learn the keying and note's, etc... I kinda figure it's just like riding a bike right??? You never forget sorta . I forgot to add my current trumpet is a Holton which is probably about 19 years old.

Take Care.

Shane

Re: What it do.

I was a terrible amateur trumpet player when I was a teenager.
Then I was away from the trumpet for about 25-30 years.
Now that I am 52 years old with about 5 years of casual practice as a come-back player under my belt I, have worked my way up to being a mediocre player!

Welcome to Trumpet Master, where the professionals and the amateurs, the talented and the untalented hang around together.

Welcome to the Forum shane
From everything I've heard it is like riding a bike (with all the wonderful muscles that need to be worked up too) but you can also get advice/tips from the many fellow come-backers here
