That is fabulous. I grew up in muscle car era and in this area, just west of O'Hare, MoPar was huge.
My neighbor has his 68 Charger RT in his garage. It just needs paint. No power anything and a 4 speed. He's had it nearly 40 years. My childhood friend still has
the 69 Dart 340 I drove home for him in 1970. He didn't know how to drive 4 speed yet. That car is virtually perfect even now. He is doing a restoration on it. It is a medium blue with a white vinyl top and runs great.
I had a 57 Plymouth that was 10 years old and a hand me down, a 65 Satellite, and a 73 Dodge Charger SE which was my first brand new car. (We won't count the 75 Cordoba. That wasn't too hot a car).
While in music school in Chicago, I could take the train or drive. My dad loved his Plymouths and we went to look at the 69 Road Runners. We both fell for a rather simple one with automatic, power steering, and power brakes. Vinyl top, too. It was a whole $3400.00. Just before he was going to sign for it, he thought he would check with the insurance man. Turned out he could afford the car, but the insurance was going to be $800 per year in 1970 dollars. That killed that.
MoPars had a magic about them. The Chevy and Fords around here couldn't touch them. And as you well know, there is nothing like being in a hemi powered car under
    full throttle.
    I'll bet you had fun!
    Regards,
    Rich

Yees, all those cars were mine except the Olds 442. My brother in law was the drriver of that. Also the Royal Pontiacs were not mine.

MoPar???Yes, in the 70s I drove Pro-Stock for Chrysler Corp.
