| Piano User | Marvin is a great player. I remember him playing a lot of lead in the Bob Mintzer Band back in the 80's. Considering Lew Soloff and Laurie Frink were also in that section, Marv might not have come to mind, but he was a beautiful lead player, especially for that book. I also remember meeting Marvin at Carmine's studion when I was just a pup. He's an amazing guy, with a beautiful soul and a real concern or others. |
