I always like Wilmer's ideas but I get nervous when the LATIN side is excluded from the mix.
Here are a few more:

Doc Severinsen/Francis Williams/John Frosk /Gene Rapetti/Jimmy Frisaura

Andres "Merenguito" Forda/ Nick Travis/Pedro "Puchi" Boulong/Frank Lo Pinto
Nilo Curbelo/Bernie Glow

Ernie Royal /Steve Lipkins/Nick Travis/Marky Markowitz

Danny Stiles/Al Forte/Bob Clark/Hal Posey/Willie Thomas

Nat Adderley /Paul Cohen / Nick Travis/Charlie Shavers/Ernie Royal

Ernie Royal /Al Stewart /Burt Collins / Joe Ferrante/Marky Markowitz

Juan de Marcos Gonzalez Band
Daniel "El Gordo" Ramos/ Yanko Pisaco / Yaure Muniz

Jesus & Luis Alemany/ Manuel Mirabal "El Guajiro

The Diva NO MAN's Band - Jami Dauber/Tanya Darby/Christina Fawson/Liesl Whitaker.

Joe I think you are getting carried away with the html code. Your posts would be alot easier to read if you just threw in a bold every once in a while.

Jesus Alemany, now there's a player. I was just listening to Malembe today, that's a killer trumpet section.

kadleck has a spectacular aura about
I meeting up with Marvin Stamm Thursday afternoon for lunch. I'll pass along the fact that he made so many of our "Dream Tpt. Section" lists!

Dave - I'm not too familiar (I know, I should be) with Willie Thomas. I'll have to do some research.

Marvin is a great player. I remember him playing a lot of lead in the Bob Mintzer Band back in the 80's. Considering Lew Soloff and Laurie Frink were also in that section, Marv might not have come to mind, but he was a beautiful lead player, especially for that book. I also remember meeting Marvin at Carmine's studion when I was just a pup. He's an amazing guy, with a beautiful soul and a real concern or others.

I love the section on the Louis Bellison "Explosion" album:

Bobby Shew
Snooky Young
Blue Mitchell
Cat Anderson
Dick Mitchell
Dick Cooper

The last two names I don't really know but if they are hanging with that crowd they must be OK!!
