| Great music comes in a variety of forms. When you box something in (swing band) you limit your horizons. Great music is too large to catagorize. Just listen.... |

| Janell, I can never remember which pieces are on which CD's. But some of my favorite pieces are: Coming About, Hang Gliding, Last Season, etc... Also, some of her new stuff (yes, more "orchestral") is really beautiful, and will be out on her new CD. Tony |

| I too am a huge fan of Maria Schneider (but then I only have to listen to the parts, not play them!). I saw the jazz orchestra 3 times last year & became a big fan of Ingrid Jensen's too. Listen to the first movement of Three Romances (Three Romances:Part 1 Choro Dancado) on Days of Wine & Roses. It's my current favorite. -Stu |
