In the Kad-isphere

Yo, whass-up Mr. Kad-Mac? Huggy wants to know how to play high. I can only get to an A above the staff. I want to play up in the Kad-isphere......you know, one and two octaves above where I can play. Everyone says to play high I should use super chops and know my embouchure type, but that's so different than the Stamps method that Mr. Michael Sachs and Andy-Mac use. I'm pretty committed to hat method. But, Huggy needs help! What's the Kad-Mac method, and how can you help Huggy Bear play high?

Thanks for your help! Fo' Shizzle!!!

Love,
Huggy

First things first Huggy you are going to need the right equipment. Does your dealer sock intermediate Stomvis?

Re: In the Kad-isphere

Yes, by all means pick up an intermediate Stomvi. (Don't get the student model ... those are for beginners.)

Once you have that you'll need my signature straight mute. See this thread: SPY SHOT: TKs prototype straight mute - TrumpetMaster (SPY SHOT: TKs prototype straight mute) (You won't actually play the high notes muted, but you will still need the mute.)

Next you'll need my method book: "Double C in 57 minutes".

Oh, you should also learn the proper "lingo" too. The double high C can also be referred to as: "Dubba C", "Super C", "16va above y'all's tuning note", and my personal fave - simply "the DHC".

Lastly, you will need to go to my website and buy my CD. Don't forget to buy in bulk, as one may not be sufficient.

Before you know it, you too will be "In the Kad-isphere"!

Keep on keepin' on!

Re: In the Kad-isphere

I smell that Tony is not giving up any secrets. Maybe he knows how to maintain the DHC without practicing! C'mon man, come clean!
