Re: Maria Schneider I believe that there will be 2 trumpet subs in Des Moines. (I'll be there as well as Laurie Frink.) Danny O'Brien will be playing, and Tim Hagans will be subbing for Ingrid Jensen. If you haven't heard Tim, you've missed a lot ... he is amazing. Tony

Re: Maria Schneider I love Tim's playing. One of the really creative players. Do you know travel details yet? It would be great to have Tim, Rich, or any of you come in a couple days early if possible. I could arange some playing/clinic venues. I wish I had known of this earlier.

Re: Maria Schneider BB - We don't have the travel details yet. I think we may be off on the 1st, but that may be a travel day (to Lincoln, Nebraska). Should be fun. I haven't been to Des Moines since 1986 (with Buddy Rich). Thanks - Tony

1st post! hi tony, it's danny o! hey, i just wanted to put in yet another plug for the gig in des moines and the subsequent one in lincoln. this band is unreal, and the music is unbelievable!! if you're nearby, come see it without reservation! on a personal note, thanks tony for sitting down with me and talking me through some of these charts. it didn't seem like we got anything done, but it helped me quite a bit. any of you who can sit down with tony for a while will be the better for it! sorry for all the exclamation points, but damn! dmo
