Maria Schneider - Sky Blue

just heard this album - jeSUS!! tony, you sound fanTAStic, as does the entire band. man, there's something about this album that's just in your face, but in the best way possible. since this is a trumpet board, i should mention that ingrid, as always, sounds exponentially better every time i hear her, and her solo on 'the pretty road' is no exception.

and 'cerulean skies' will change your life.

at any rate - my god, people, go get this!! you really have no excuse (unless you don't have 10 dollars to download it

I just ordered mine, too. What a great way to use that economic stimulus package, everyone! That is what I used to purchase the CD.

Sky Blue won a Grammy Award for 'Cerulean Skies!' Congratulations to Tony, Ingrid, and Laurie! This is my third Maria Schneider CD.

I am so fortunate to hear Maria Schneider during the week of Thanksgiving for the last three years. This year I was first in line at the Jazz Standard. It is a gig that I live for every year in NYC! I have yet to meet you Tony, but I have a feeling I will eventually.
