Ignore List - Page 6

We are all Trumpeters; a Team breaks at it's weakest link, support those who are not as coversant or able to pick up quickly on something.
Do not begin an Elitist movement within our common ranks
Will take your advice and Ignore this Thread
However I belong to a lot of Forums as I am passionate about the Trumpet / Cornet
Will continue browsing around (without contempt or otherwise, just wanting to see hear and learn more) and lock in and contribute to the Positive Threads (just the one or two Posts where relevant)

at .06 posts a day over the past six months i'm gonna go out on a limb here and declare that you are not in "these" common ranks.

by your own admission you are the definition of a troll. you browse multiple forums, barely make any posts, but when something catches your fancy you pipe in. you don't know what this thread is about or why it was created. you don't know the "trolls" in question that the ignore button was created for... but i can tell you this much, you're one of them.

fear not, i haven't forgotten our movies page, i've just been too busy... and ran out of movies to photoshop. i'll get on it soon

For everyone else, here we see democracy at work. Well done all I'm impressed that this discussion has gone on for so long without it deteriorating to badly. Everyone gets to have their say and you have all managed to remain very polite - sometimes a little direct - but very responsive to everyones point of view, even though we all don't actually agree. I belong to another thread and it gets really childish really quickly (they don't agree with me). I take my hat off to you as a group - nicely handled - well expressed, and thanks for the lttle bit of humour (humor).

Hi Dabhand,
such is the evil internet world! You have to be pretty patient and have a great deal of restraint to moderate on the web. The problem is where to draw the line. I have found that locking down threads gets the troublemakers even more active. Abusive posts get deleted - sometimes not right away as that could cause an escalation. I try and communicate first by PM before doing anything though.

I do not use the ignore feature, I prefer to engage the enemy!
