This Ferrari is in desperate need of a trip to Italy - land of style. I would have likened the old TM to something like a Jag - smooth, elegant and incredibly comfortable. This seems more like a teenager who has just discovered how to pimp up his toy car. Can we go for the Aston Martin look? Smooth, elegant, with more than a hint of grunt about it. This new software is pretty smooth and it has a lot of nice touches. I think it was a great way to go. | |

| I did read the 1st page... Actaully I did read the first page. Cool! So I guess the point is to wait a bit. Totally fine. I still don't see any banner ads. I keep hitting refresh on whatever page or forum thread I'm looking at and all I see is the TrumpetMaster.com logo. I no longer see the NYTC banners, the Eclipse banner or Trent's banners, to name a few. I do see the sponsored links just under the menu (User CP FAQ Memebers List, etc), but those banners aren't popping up on my PC. I gather from your post this is just my PC. How do I get them back? EDITED SUNDAY AM: Ah HA! THERE they are. I'm on the family PC this morning and the ads are back. I'll have to check on my studio PC, but things seem to be coming back into focus. Excellent. OK, Now I'm downstairs in my studio and I CANNOT see the banner ads! I don't get that! I tried clearing off the cookies, but to no avail. Why would the TM site look different on two different pc's in my home? Do I need to enable HTML? If yes, how do I do that? I did nothing to change anyting about TM pn my PC's so this is confusing. Help! Thanks! Nick Last edited by NickD : 08-13-2006 at 03:42 PM. |

![]() | We have had no other complaints about the banner ads. We are using the same code for the ads that was used on the old forum. It sounds like an issue on your end. Maybe try a different browser. Sorry we can't be of more help. Quote:

| Got it sorted out... I got it sorted out. I compared the two PC's and found that I had conflicting security system terminology - pop-ups and ads. Both systems are Norton, but they are distinctly different. Very wierd. Back to lurking. ND |
