Re: posting pictures in signatures

I used the Add to Favorites function to make an URL and pasted it in the http space on the Edit Signature page but it still says that the image is unable to be saved. What should I do? I tried copying the image, pasting it in My Pictures folder and the size of the file was 15.0KB so it's well under the limit.

I am definitely having the same problem, and following directions exactly.

Re: posting pictures in signatures

The easiest way to do it is to "right click" (if you are a pc user) on the image you want to use

select "properties"

copy the image url

Go to edit your signature

Click this icon to insert image

paste the url

save the signature.

Re: posting pictures in signatures

The directions are easy enough but no matter what variation I try I get the message "unable to save image."

Are you using Internet Explorer 6? If so try Firefox, Netscape, or download Internet Explorer 7.

I am also having trouble getting the url to go into my signature. When I went to paste it I never got that little icon that was suggested to click on.

Re: posting pictures in signatures

If that is the case go to

UserCp -> Edit Options -> Miscellaneous Options -> WYSIWYG editor

When posting messages to the forums or other members, there are three interface types available to you. The simplest of these is a simple text box, while the last is a fully-fledged WYSIWYG editor, which allows you to format your text as you want it and see the results immediately.

Depending upon the capabilities of your web browser, you may not be able to use all of these options. If you experience problems when posting messages, try switching to a different interface type.
