You and I share a love for the elderly King Liberty and Silvertone trumpets. They have been my favorites for many years. I just acquired a Conn 2B New World Symphony trumpet,( .459" ) that I am learning to like at least as much as my old Kings. If you get a chance to try one I am sure that you will agree. One of the things that I am learning to like, a lot, is the trigger for the first valve slide. It is a more natural movement of the left hand than the third valve slide ring or the first valve slide saddle. If my Olds Recording Model was a slightly smaller bore horn and silver plated that would be my favorite. It has spring loaded triggers at both slides.
