A lot of it depends upon your genetics and how you process food. Sometimes what your ancestors ate can determine what you can eat and in what quantities. An example is there have been people who ate 6-12 whole eggs a day and lived a healthy vibrant life into their 90's. And then there are people who eat moderately and still die at an early age because of hereditary factors.

So generally the old saying most things in moderation is a good bet regardless of genetics. At the same time it's important to follow your body's ability to absorb and circulate nutrients while getting rid of waste.

A lot of health problems are related to poor circulation and inactivity. So no matter what you choose to eat and in what quantity it is a good idea to enhance your body’s circulation through cardio-vascular exercise on a consistent basis as in 2-4 times per week. This will also enhance your ability to play the trumpet.
