Hey, having played the Medium red, I can honestly say that its the thickest, darkest most compact sound Ive ever heard come out of a trumpet bell that I was attached to. I dont think any jazzer could go wrong on this one.
On a side note, please excuse my typing as Im in a PC cafe in Berlin and german keyboards are REALLY weird.
