This was Clifford Brown's working rhythm section with Barry Galbraith added. On the LP you can see about nine strings. It also appears to be a Besson trumpet Clfford Brown is playing. Third valve ring is underneath the third valve slide, lock is on top. Water keys on the tuning slide and third valve slide. Looks like a Bach mouthpiece although that's a bit tougher to see for sure.

Recorded January 18,19,20, 1955.

did they also have the ring under slung?

I'm pretty sure this is a Besson. I've heard the same thing about the Blessing, but I've also heard he played a Besson. He could have had a couple of horns you know. He could have played a Sears and sounded the same!!
