| never heard of the "south beach" but i know once you are into phase two in atkins (2 weeks) you have to caculate how many carbs you intake depending on your activity level... for instance it was like a 120 carbs (that affect blood sugar) per day for an athlete and only about 30 for the overweight guy that could not excercise...
can you elobrate a little more on the differences?
