In response to Clarino-- you are right! Lager for the masses over here. Good ales and stouts, however, can be found for those of us who have progressed beyond keg stands, beer bongs, and related rituals of mass consumption. European friends of mine who have been coming to the states for over 30 years have marveled for the last decade at the availability of good beer and good coffee here. Now if we could just do something about the bread. . .

And for everyone-- if you find yourself within a 250 mile radius of Kansas City look for Boulevard Pale Ale. Their Bully Porter is also quite good.

P.S. Is it just me, or have Coors Light TV commercials for the last six months or so seemed to say "Be a tasteless, obnoxious moron! Drink Coors Light!"
