for starters, that was Duke, not Count.

i was listening to Rick Braun today. he's an excellent player on his new Getzen, but to me it sounded like a flugel horn rather than a trumpet.

i ask, are we so fly nowadays that a trumpet can sound like anything you want it to sound like or is there a trumpet sound as opposed to a flugel horn sound or a cornet sound?

i mean why don't these guys just buy flugel horns and be done with it?
