Speaking of Curry mpc's. I am playing a Curry 5DC in my Cornet. Sweet, rounded, warm sound and can sound even darker. This is as nice as it gets. On ballads it's almost illegal to sound this sexy. Not quite a flugel, but close enough I don't have to own a flugel, too. I know other mfgrs make similar mpcs but I don't have the resources or places to try them all. That would be nice. Low tones sound like Lou Rawls or Arthur Prysock if a cornet could talk. I'm having fun. Can't you tell? I just love practicing, now.
