That's a really great story. You know, in the world they always talk about "six degrees of separation". But the music business, and especially Trumpetland, is much smaller (in my opinion). I think "three degrees of separation" is more accurate.
In the last year I have been able to meet some really great people...usually because I happened to know a guy, who knew a guy...who knew a guy...well, you get the picture. It never fails to amaze me.
