Hi Bill. I'm going to post more info from home but I believe that CKUA (which now has live "online" broadcasting) is featuring a lot more of the CD this Monday evening at around 7:30 pm MST. But I'll have to double check that info this afternoon.

In the picture of "Gold Band", I'm the 2nd from the viewer's left in the back row of trumpets (just in front of the percussionist with the "piano keyboard" suspenders). In the picture of the "Silver Band" I would be the one on the extreme left row of trumpets.

If you go to "Our Photo Album", check "Silver Band ./ 03 (7), then click the third picture in the top row, that's me, still on the left. (That was while we were playing "Jump, Jive n Wail" during our recent conductor search.... had to replace a certain conductor whom is no longer with our organization and whom we both know!) I've since bought a second pair of glasses so I don't have to bury the bell in the stand to see the music!

Edit: One thing, Bill. If you get the chance, play Snake Fence Country! (or listen to HSSB's recording of it). I think that bit about 10 bars in is the most awkward piece of music I've tried to play so far. Maybe Ted Sparks can rip it off....but I felt like I needed to break all the fingers in my right hand and then have them reset to even attempt it!

Edit: Oh yeah...if you are listening to this piece, that's my daughter playing lead horn. She graduates this spring with a B. Mus (Perf).
