| I do know that the "Artist Formerly Known As Prince" has copyrighted the "symbol" which has replaced his name. So I imagine, as an example, that it would not be legal for that to be a "part" of a horn (a retail item) without prior written permission.
If something is legally protected then it is probably wise to assume that it is "hands off", regardless of how innocent a contestants motives may be.
