Hi Flip, Tom, hope all is well with you both. I bought my goldplated Wild Thing about 3 Years ago and I just added the new J Slide last month.
All I can say is wow! I can't put the dang thing down. The horn has such a big core to the sound but when I push it, it sizzles. As if this isn't enough, even though the horn is big, it speaks so easily when you stroke it... but the core is still wide. All kidding aside, the horn makes practicing fun, so consequently you sound great because the horn is so good and then you sound good because you are improving from all the practice. Never before have I gotten as many compliments from the other musicians that I play with. I'm using a NorthernBrass/GR mouthpiece that really lights up the WildThing. What's that you say? This Thing is Wild.
