| Don't get me wrong, I listen to nearly EVERY type of music (with the only exception of rap, and hell's gonna freeze over and the devil will turn into a penguin before I actually listen to that crap). This includes pop, country, classical, jazz, techno, old rock, acapella, and even some rock. I am probably one of the few people in the world who has walked out of the music store with a Wynton, SRV, and Canadian Brass CD all in one bag. BUT, unfortunately, opinions are gonna differ on this. First of all, I question Timberlake's morals (not many questions left there now, huh). Personally, I find it embarassing considering some of his lyrics and actions. And unfortunately this goes for many of today's "popular" artists. Oh sure, the Backstreet Boys and N'Sync all had nice harmonies and could dance, but did you notice the total LACK OF VARIETY!? For cryin out loud, I couldn't hardly tell them apart. And no, I will fight this to my death, Spears can't sing. What you hear is severly modified through computers, amplifiers, synthesizers, etc. By herself, the girl just can't sing. And again, this goes with many of the"pop" artists. I just simply can't stand some of the stuff that somehow actually wins awards or becomes popular.
