I play a Besson International. I was told by my teacher it was made by Kanstul. It plays very well for me, I have not had any problems except a minor finish bubbling, on the underside of the leadpipe (supposedly red rot). Anyhow, it does play well for me, but I've gotten terrible reviews from various sources on this horn, and I wondered, is this really a Kanstul horn? My teacher is pretty knowledgible on this sort of thing, and he actually said he'd spoken to Kanstul about this before I bought it. It was at a very reasonable price, and I couldn't imagine him trying to hype up the horn for selling reasons.
Anyone know anything about this horn?? Since I've never heard of it before I bought it, and no one I know locally knows much about horns, I'd love to know some background on it.
